Lori Stall

¡Hola!  I have been teaching at Union since 2012.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Oklahoma State University in 2009.  After graduating from OSU, my husband and I moved to Nanjing, China to teach English and explore the country.  I have traveled to different cities in Mexico on multiple occasions and in the future hope to expand my travels to Spain and South America.  My love of experiencing and learning about other cultures is how I came to learn Spanish and survival Chinese.

Each year I offer students the opportunity to travel to Guanajuato, Mexico with me during Spring Break.  Union students will study Spanish at a private language institute in classes of 4-6 students, each at their own level, and will stay in pairs with carefully chosen host families who live in the historic city center near the school and have worked with my group for years.  While not in school, the students also take part in cooking and dancing classes, an exchange with students learning English, a hike up La Bufa, as well as many other cultural activities that are unique to Guanajuato.  Be on the lookout for more information from your student.

I look forward to another great year with my students and will work hard with the other World Language instructors to successfully educate my students and strengthen their linguistic skills.  Email is the best method of communication for me.
