Michele Pranger

I began my teaching career after completing a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University in physical education. For two years I taught in Illinois and then completed two and a half years in Singapore at both the elementary and secondary levels. After raising a family I returned to college at Oral Roberts University to pursue a teaching certificate in elementary education. During the 2007-2008 school year I taught fourth grade at the Christian Education Alliance in Tulsa. I began teaching at Union Public Schools as a substitute teacher in 2008. In the fall of 2009 I became a second grade teacher at Roy Clark Elementary School. In 2016 I earned my Elementary Math Specialist Certificate.

I am very happy to be teaching for my ninth year at Roy Clark Elementary School this year. I enjoy making learning fun and challenging. When students start thinking in new ways they get very excited, so do I.

My husband is also a teacher. We have an adult daughter and son. I also enjoy gardening, sewing, crafts and reading about real people.
